What will you get on a private charter?
You will have exclusive use of one of our overlanding trucks for the duration of the charter. Our Mercedes-Benz trucks are custom-built, and are known for their durability and robust design.

You will also have your own team of Dragoman crew. Our crew are passionate about travel, and always up for adventure. They are all carefully selected for their regional knowledge, easy-going personalities and dedication to customer service. All of our crew have all come through the best and most comprehensive overland training programme in the world - as well as spending 10 weeks at our Suffolk-based Debenham HQ learning about Dragoman, truck maintenance, driving, first aid and customer service. They also spend up to six months shadowing more experienced crew on the road as a trainee.

Travel as a group with flexible dates and itineraries
A huge advantage of a private charter is flexibility in the dates and the itinerary. You can choose to run one of our carefully-crafted existing itineraries as a private charter with your own group and on your own dates. Alternatively, we can work with you to create a tailor-made itinerary specifically designed around what you wish to see and do on your travels.
What does a private charter cost & how many can travel?
The prices will vary according to the area and the length of your trip, but as a ball-park figure a single charter will usually cost around GBP17,000 for a 2-3 week trip - you can travel in a group of up to 20 people. There will also be a per person local payment or kitty that is paid locally to the crew, to arrange activities and accommodation en route.
