Foreign Travel Advice

This is a great trip that links Laos, Cambodia and Thailand together. With over 10 days in Laos, we have plenty of time to slowly explore this beautiful and serene country, with its history, beautiful people and amazing landscapes. By the time we get to Cambodia we will be fully in tune with the Mekong and its stunning sunset views, but there are few better than at Kratie in the northeast of Cambodia. Cambodia's modern history is not a happy one, but Phnom Penh wears it with resilience in public and no visitor can be left unmoved by their visit to this lovely Mekong City. Of course, no trip to this country would be complete without a thorough exploration of the many incredible temples surrounding Angkor Wat.

Explore the sights of the bustling Thai capital of Bangkok
Explore the vast royal complex of Bangkok's Grand Palace
Full day tour of the incredible temples at Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom
Explore the amazing pre-Angkorian temple complex of Sambor Prei Kuk
Spend time in the chaotic Cambodian capital Phnom Penh
Study Cambodia's history at the "Killing Fields" and Tuol Sleng Prison Museum
Guided trip to the Mekong River in search of freshwater dolphins
Cambodian family homestay experience
Visit '4000 islands' at Don Khon in Laos
Visit Laos incredible 10th-century temple of Wat Phou

This is a perfect and easy trip for those who want to see the best of Cambodia and Laos in under three weeks. A well paced trip, with plenty of 3 and 2 night stays, limited camping and mainly hotels and hostels.

Helen and Duncan were absolutley fantastic, wonderful ambassadors for your company. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them and we were always involved when decisions had to be made. I never felt like I was being told what to do unlike some other trips I have been on.

Maxine R

I was impressed by Duncan and especially Helen in their organisational skills and cheery natures. Nothing was ever a problem for them. Chet was an informative and enthusiastic local guide in Cambodia. I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure and would recommend Dragoman to anyone that wanted to see a lot of SE Asia in short duration of time.
