- What did you do before becoming crew?

My partner and I traveled for nearly a year doing a lot of hiking, some rock climbing and hitchhiking in the Middle East and South East Asia before we found out about Dragoman

- Why did you become Dragoman crew?

Because it seemed like all of what I had been doing and studying added up to becoming a Drago crew. Having a partner who felt absolutely the same made it obvious that we had to apply and embark on this journey to keep on exploring the world and share our passion with other fellow travelers.

- What's your favourite destination?

Through my travels I found that my favorite destinations weren’t about the places I found myself in, but how they made me feel and what they triggered in me. The people I met, the challenges I faced, what it created in me. This is what lasts. That feeling of belonging somewhere, of growing and learning. For that, many destinations remain special to me and any destination is likely to become a favorite of mine.

- What has been your favourite or most memorable occasion on the road?

My first night as a Drago crew which was spent in my sleeping bag in the sand dunes of Huacachina, Peru.

- What's the most essential item in your backpack?

My Dragoman hoodie has become one of my favorite items in my backpack!

- What is your one piece of advice to future overlanders/passengers?

Open yourself to what you see and who you meet. Be present and smile. Forget about home for a while and enjoy the journey. You’ll make lifelong memories and friendships.
