Updated 13 May 2020 16:40 PM.
Dragoman has been in operation since 1981 and in that time we have never experienced the unprecedented crisis that the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic (Covid 19) has caused.
The safety and well being of all our passengers and crew is our utmost priority and in line with the current FCO Advice for all but essential travel outside of the UK we have had to take the very difficult decision to further extend the suspension of all our trips departing right through until 16th August, 2020 (inclusive).
We fully intend to run our trips in the future BUT only when it is safe to do so.
We have been contacting passengers in order of departure that are affected by this decision
As our offices are closed and all our staff are working remotely, please bear with us and be assured that we are communicating as effectively and quickly as we can, in what is also a very stressful time for our staff.
If you have booked via a travel agent then they will be in contact with you as soon as they can.
For the communities we visit, the responsible travel projects we support, our suppliers, passengers and crew, it is our dearest wish to be able to start running our tours again as soon as we possibly can.
Future Travel after the suspension
As members of AITO and ABTA we are being kept directly informed about UK government policy and travel advice as soon as it is released. We are also closely following the situation as reported by the World Health Organisation (WHO), the National Travel Health Network and Centre (NaTHNaC), Public Health England (PHE) and the UK National Health Service (NHS).
For UK nationals, please use the UK FCO travel advice per country: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. For non UK nationals, please ensure you read your home government’s travel advice.
If you feel you do not wish to travel on a trip that is due to depart after 16th August 2020, then please contact us to discuss the situation at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please bear with us as we deal with passengers in order of priority and keep checking back to this page which we will continue to update as information becomes available.
