Who goes on small group adventure holidays?

It’s not easy to stereotype the sort of person who travels on one of our Adventure Holidays. A typical group could include anyone from 18 to 70 years of age and all kinds of different nationalities. The key thing that people who come on this type of tour have in common is a sense of adventure and a yearning for new and exotic experiences. The trips are extremely diverse - so are our travellers.

In a normal Adventure Holiday group, about 50% of people will be solo travellers and the rest are likely to be couples or friends travelling together. Usually a really strong group spirit develops during the trip as you share some incredible experiences with your fellow travellers. It’s not uncommon for people to meet lifelong friends, or even meet their future husband or wife! All of our tours have a physical and comfort zone rating so you can choose the trip that suits you best. As a basic rule any adventure holiday with a comfort zone of 1-2 will be in simple multi share accommodation, making for an affordable trip with none of the extras you don’t need; ratings of 3-4 will include more activities as standard and 5 is the most comfortable with a higher level of accommodation and some travel using private transport. In short, whatever type of adventure you are looking for, we should have something for you.
