Dragoman expands small group adventure portfolio
Dragoman Overseas Travel Ltd is pleased to announce an expansion of its adventure travel offering with the acquisition of Imaginative Traveller.
From 1 October 2011 the small group adventure specialist Imaginative Traveller will be integrated within the Dragoman portfolio, allowing customers to choose between two distinct travel styles as they explore the world.
The two products will operate side by side under the Dragoman Overseas Travel Ltd umbrella, withboth brands retaining their individual websites and identity.
Charlie Hopkinson, MD of Dragoman Overseas Travel Ltd, said: "Whilst our truck-based Overland Tours are well-established, the integration of the Imaginative Traveller brand within the Dragoman family will allow us to develop our small group adventure holiday offering further. We know from customer feedback that there is a growing demand forbothtypes of travel and are therefore delighted that we will now be able to provide anincreased variety of exceptional tours catering for all holiday styles.
"We are keen to retain the brand values, destinational expertise and emphasis onaffordable adventures that has kept Imaginative Traveller customers loyal for the past 20 years and are confident that the product will complement our existing adventure holidays well."
The incorporation of the incoming brand's tailor-made capability will also boost Dragoman's private travel offering, introduced in June 2011. The increased range of holiday styles will allow the adventure specialist to provide a greater range of personalised itineraries for individuals, couples, families and special interest groups and will sit alongside the current range of private truck chartered trips in purpose-built Mercedes Benz trucks.
The 2012 Dragoman Overland Tour brochure will be released on 1 November and the Imaginative Traveller Small Group Adventure brochure is scheduled for launch in December.
