PLEASE NOTE: The canoe safari in the Lower Zambezi is an activity with inherent risk attached. You will be canoeing down the Kafue and Zambezi Rivers and crocs, hippos and elephant are around. For safety purposes, Safari Par Excellence (the canoe trip operator) and Dragoman Overland must impose a weight restriction. In the rare event that a passenger exceeds the weight limit and the guide cannot transfer the equipment/other payload to other boats, then the canoe guide does have the authority to stop that person from taking part in the canoe trip. The guide will do everything possible to avoid this, but in the extreme event that he or she feels that the safety of clients is in jeopardy he or she will make the appropriate decision.
