New Director Survives Family Adventure

Adam Dixon-Smith and family in Africa

Adam Dixon-Smith, our new managing director, who joined Dragoman in July was thrown in at the deep end last month. He and his family joined a summer family trip through Tanzania and Kenya. 'What an awesome trip' were his opening words when he walked back (bearded) into the office. 'With four boys aged 8 to 13 it was just the type of adventure we were looking for - snorkling in the Indian Ocean and game drives in the Serengeti were just two of the highlights but it's the range of memories that will stick with us. I really hope we can develop the range of family trips because they really offer a unique experience for all the family'.

There's still time to have a truly different family Christmas. Do this exact trip - departs Nairobi on 16 December. East Africa Family Trip - 16 nights

And Finally - our Duncan get's his badge!

Duncan gets his Blue Peter Badge

When the BBC and Blue Peter were looking for a charter partner to assist with the making of a two week road trip around Bolivia they looked no further than Dragoman Overland. All four Blue Peter presenters, plus film crew joined our truck for a Bolivian adventure. After getting the truck blessed on the shores of Lake Titicaca they headed down to La Paz for the markets, Potosi for the silver mines and Uyuni for the salt flats. Our crew then dropped them off in Santa Cruz so they could explore the jungle.

The story unfolds on BBC1at 5pm on Tuesdays and Wednesday throughout September and October so keep your eyes peeled. As a reward for all their efforts our crew were honoured with the world famous and much coveted Blue Peter badge. Congratulations Duncan, Dave and Debs!!
