India Overland

Home From India

Pam (who works in our operations) and 'P' both travelled on our Moguls, Mosques & Mahals, which is a 16 night trip travelling from Kathmandu to Delhi

Dear Pam,

Oh, what a joy to get an e mail from you, so I can rave on about how much I enjoyed the trip. I haven't stopped talking about it since.

Yes, I will write to you about it and how we thought everything was terrific, absolutely no complaints at all. Everything was as, or better than we expected but we were completely realistic about what to expect. I knew I would have to bring my own marigolds! but thrilled to hear you might provide them, but I'd still bring my own anyway. We had a completely uneventful journey home and true to form, I simply slept most of it, which is how I spent most of the time on Daphne too! I will say again and I tell everyone I meet that Claire and Pete were simply brilliant, efficient and I would trust them with my children's life. I couldn't imagine anyone that I would rather go on a tiger hunt with, oh come to think of it, I did!

Yes, we are genuinely thinking of the trip from Victoria Falls across Botswana, Namibia to Cape Town, but not until 2008.
I was thrilled to discover when I got home that I had lost 5lbs, I don't feel any thinner but it doesn't surprise me as I really didn't like the food. The only meals I enjoyed were the ones Pete cooked.

Stephen has just added that we had to pay £150 on our excess baggage at the airport as we had the carpet, bedspreads and marble elephant. But it was all worth it. I am absolutely thrilled with my 2 rings and have worn the modern, 3 coloured one ever since.

Friends of ours would love a brochure

Thanks again for e mail and for being on our holiday and being such fun.

With love P
