Kenya Tourism is alive and well
Now that the two political parties are settling their differences and a power sharing solution has been found, Kenyan tourism can get to normal.
Kenya desperately needs to get the tourists back and it is worth remembering that despite the horrific localised violence that we all witnessed in the news, no tourists were harmed. This is partly due to the restrictions placed on tourists and partly because the local people realised that this was a domestic problem. These are coupled to the fact that Kenyans really appreciate the value of their tourist industry and have always warmly welcomed visitors.
Now that the situation in Kenya has stabilised we are happy to say that we are able to return to our standard itineraries for trips passing through Kenya. Obviously we will continue to monitor events and our tour leaders and contacts on the ground will keep us updated. We do have the contingency itineraries now in place in case we need to revert back to them, but currently there is no real reason not to run the brochured itinerary.
We do have some cracking holidays that visit Kenya and we would urge you to look at visiting Kenya this year.
