The Long Way Down the Nile

This is one of our all time favourites and we have travelled the desert route down the Nile since 1981. OK it can be quite tough at times, but hey, you're not going to see too many other travellers on this route.

Of course you now can see this route on Ewan Magregor's epic 'Long Way Down' but why not leave the armchair and join our crew Anna and Ian and see it for yourself.

Ewan may make the route famous, but we make it possible. Check out the various trips below, one of them might just suit your time frame

Overland travel down the Nile

Cairo to Khartoum
27 nights through Egypt and Sudan. If you only have a few weeks, then this could be for you, especially if you like history, wilderness and really freindly folk.

Cairo to Addis
