Patagonia Overland between Carta... (JES)

From: $9840 + Kitty

Overview

134 days between Cartagena and Santiago or vice versa...

Travelling from the stunning beaches of the Caribbean through to the wilds of the patagonia in Chile has always meant a journey through the Andes. But now Dragoman have introduced a new way to make the trip, which involves a massive detour across the width of the Amazon Jungle.

We travel across Peru then descend from the high Andes into the depth of the steamy jungle in Peru. Crossing the border into Brazil, we head for the Pantanal and then the great city of Brasilia.  Onwards to the Atlantic and Rio and then south into Argentina, down to the southern tip of Patagonia, to the windswept city of Ushuaia. Then we head north into the beautiful mountains and glaciers of Chile to the capital Santiago. What a journey!
