Peru is one of South America's most diverse countries, and you’ll see the best of it, from colonial Lima to the majestic Pacific Coast, from the extraordinary Nazca Lines to the incredible Machu Picchu. You’ll stay on Lake Titicaca and visit its islands before heading to Bolivia's capital La Paz; overland across the Altiplano, the world’s second highest plateau, visiting Potosi and spending 3 days in the bizarre landscape of the Uyuni Salt Flats before crossing into Argentina and to Salta where you can have a go at rafting or other adventure sports. You’ll also stay on an Anglo-Argentine estancia, learning the ways of the gauchos, or cowboys, who have run this ranch for centuries, before travelling to elegant Buenos Aires where this trip ends.
