Overview

39 days between La Paz and Rio De Janeiro or vice versa...

Take a journey which spans this vast continent, west to east, and you’ll experience some of the most quintessential countries, culture and landscapes of South America. Starting in La Paz, the world’s highest capital city, you’ll see the surreal salt flats at Uyuni and traverse the high Altiplano, the second highest plateau in the world, as well as taking in Laguna Colorado and Verde. In Chile, you’ll experience the world’s driest desert, the Atacama and ‘Moon Valley’ before crossing into Argentina for a wholly different experience, one which will see you visit the vineyards this country is so famous for, and where you’ll spend 3 days on an Anglo-Argentinian estancia, or ranch, learning the ways of the gauchos (cowboys). Stopping at Buenos Aires, the continent’s coolest city, you’ll then see the Iguazu Falls from the Argentine and Brazilian side, before overlanding through the biggest country in South America: Brazil. It’s a country that has so much to offer the adventurous traveller. You’ll enjoy the crystal clear waters at Bonito, an eco-tourism adventure capital, take a 2 day safari through the Pantanal and spend 3 days exploring the Emerald Coast.
