From Beijing’s Great Wall and Forbidden City to the reclining Buddha in Bangkok, this two-month long adventure will take you through the heart of China before crossing into some of South East Asia’s most welcoming countries: Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. Whilst it ticks all the boxes for many of the areas must-sees, such as the Terracotta Warriors of Xi’an in China, to Angkor Wat in Cambodia, we’ve created an itinerary that will take you well away from the main tourist trail. You’ll learn about local Naxi culture in the southern Chinese town of Lijiang, overland through the remote Isan region in Thailand – there’s even wildcamping!
