Overview

182 days between Mexico City and Cusco

Starting this epic overland journey in Guatemala allows us to join Central and South America together. We travel from the cultures of the Mayan Indian, through the realms of the Incas, across the plains of Argentina, the Amazon Jungle and then back to the Inca heartland of Peru. Latin America is an amazing region, reflecting the joined history, geography, cultures and landscapes. Travelling from Guatemala across Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama is an amazing journey but add in the Gauchos of Argentina and you have an amazing trip.    

But now for the very best bit and for something of a first: Dragoman has pioneered the route across the Amazon Jungle between Rio and Cusco. Our new exploratory route cuts straight through the heart of Brazil's Amazon Jungle, crossing into the jungles of Peru and then climbing up the mighty Andes and onto the city of Cusco.
