154 days between Antigua and Cusco

Latin America is an amazing region, encompassing both Central and South America. The two areas fit together; their history, geography, cultures and landscapes are joined, so it's good to visit both together. Travelling from Guatemala across Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama is an amazing journey but add in the Gauchos of Argentina and you have an amazing trip.    

This trip really comes into its own once we cross into South America. We travel the length and breadth of the Andes from Colombia through to Bolivia, head across the plains of Argentina to Buenos Aires, visit the stunning Iguazu Falls, then onto the amazing city of Rio and the incomparable Rio Carnival.    

But now for the very best bit and for something of a first: Dragoman has pioneered the route across the Amazon Jungle between Rio and Cusco. Our new exploratory route cuts straight through the heart of Brazil's Amazon Jungle, crossing into the jungles of Peru and then climbing up the mighty Andes and onto the city of Cusco.
