Other great Rio Carnival activities
There are also some great extra activities that you can experience at Rio Carnival.FOOTBALL MATCH
Visit the legendary Maracana Stadium – this giant stadium accommodates over 100,000 people and has hosted many championship games over the years, including the 1950 World Cup and the legendary Pele's last game.
JOIN THE PARADE
Watching the parade is one thing but actually taking part in the parade, is a real thrill and an unparallel experience, yes it will be hot and sweaty and your feet will ache after an hour or more parading but it will make a talking point for years to come, not many people can say they have actually taken part in a Sambadrome Parade.
2nd SAMBADROME VISIT
Feedback from previous passengers has encouraged us to offer this great opportunity to revisit the Sambadrome on Monday night, allowing a closer look at the costumes, dancing and parades.
GAY BALL
Put aside your inhibitions, get your costume sorted – plenty of glitter absolutely necessary and get dancing with all the other party goers. If you are going to visit just one ball then this is the one that we recommend!
HISTORICAL SAMBA TOUR
This tour discovers the past and present areas of Rio Carnival and the birthplace of Samba and will provide you with an interesting history of Rio Carnival and how the samba music became such a part of the Carioca Carnival.
Price for all these Rio Carnival add ons can be found here.
Join us in Rio and party like its Carnival time!
