Day 1 Nairobi
- Explore Africa's biggest city between Cairo and Johannesburg.
Day 2 Aberdare National Park
- Perched among the trees on 12 m high stilts, tonight's hotel offers superb panoramic views of the wildlife below. From its verandah spot animals drinking at the nearby waterhole.
Day 3 Lake Nakuru
- See the famous flamingos of Lake Nakuru and embark on game drives to look for rare black and white rhinos.
Days 4-5 Lake Naivasha
- Discover this birdwatchers' paradise ringed by flat-topped acacia trees. In free time its possible to cruise the lake to spot hippos, trek into Hell's Gate National Park to explore its dramatic caves and gorges or simply relax in the lakeside surrounds.
Days 6-7 Masai Mara National Reserve
- Venture out on game spotting drives in the mornings and afternoons, taking a cue from the animals and resting during the midday heat.
Day 8 Nairobi
- Leave the wilderness behind for the night.
Day 9 Lake Manyara National Park
- Look out for tree-climbing lions and watch colourful exotic birds, including flamingos and pelicans, skim this picturesque lake.
Days 10-11 Serengeti National Park
- The expansive Serengeti is home to over two-million herbivores and thousands of predators. Safaris at dusk and dawn travel right into the heart of the action.
Day 12 Ngorongoro Crater
- Try to spot big cats lazing in the sun during an early morning drive, perhaps passing the Simba Kopjes en route. Later, gaze over the famous Olduvai Gorge where skeletons of early human ancestors, dating back almost 20,000 years, were discovered. Spend the night at a lodge on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 13 Mto Wa Mbu/Lake Manyara
- Descend into the immense Ngorongoro Crater to spot the Big Five and many more iconic animals. Meet the locals of Mto Wa Mbu on the return trip to Lake Manyara.
Day 14 Nairobi
- Return to the urban buzz of Kenya's capital.
