Osh
We know that Osh is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia from the rock drawings and inscriptions found on the northern slope of the Suleiman Mountain, which date it back to the 5th century BC. Today few ancient buildings remain and it feels more of a Soviet city, and there's still a large statue of Lenin on one of the main thoroughfares. Osh is the second biggest city in Kyrgystan, although there is a large Uzbek population here because of it's location close to the border, so in some ways it feels like a lost out-post of the Ferghana Valley.
