Georgia
Georgia is a mountainous country with spectacular Caucasus scenery, and warm generous people. It is a strongly Christian country and has some of the most historic Christian monuments on the planet. The age and condition of the churches and monasteries, many dating back to the Fifth Century, is staggering. Being such a small country it is possible to see and do a great deal in a short time and yet, because of its geographical and cultural isolation from the West, it is seldom visited by Western travellers.
