Barinas
In the Andean foothills alongside the Santo Domingo River is the city of Barinas. It is the capital of the tropical greenland plain, Llanos. There are a number of sights in Barinas that draw a public crowd in. The many parks and gardens are a wonderful place to relax and if you want to find out about the history of Barinas, then a trip to the museums and cathedrals are a great place to start.
