We love our Classic trucks. They’re heavy-duty, rigid bodied safari vehicles custom built and maintained by us and perfect for overlanding. Our fleet of Mercedes (4x2’s, 6x4’s and 4x4’s for truck anoraks) are comfortable, very secure and carry camping equipment, water-tanks and have luggage lockers making us totally self-sufficient. They also have their own names like, Cindy, Claudia or Naomi (they’re all super models). Special to Dragoman Overland are our roof seats, allowing you a bird’s eye view of the world. Designed specifically for the job, Dragoman Overland trucks are the best way to traverse the plains of Africa or rutted tracks of Brazil.

Encounter Overland Trucks.

Encounter style vehicles are also Mercedes based, but have a different design. There’s a canvas top for protection from the elements and ‘roll up’ sides for an excellent view of the scenery. Seating is mainly inward facing and the layout is arranged to be more sociable. Just as a convertible can be more fun than a limo, an Encounter vehicle gets you closer to the elements (though forget the fancy hair-do). Full camping equipment is also carried as well as water tanks and luggage lockers. In South America, Encounter vehicles are hard sided giving more protection against the cold of the Andes.

• Open fire cooking grills, Gas stove.
• Complete kitchen and fridge.
• 350 litre fresh water tanks.
• Awning for sun/rain protection, large cook tent.
