Traveller testimonials.

Overlanding is about sharing a great experience with like-minded people mainly aged between 18 to 40 years of age. But attitude is more important than age. Life on board a Dragoman truck is fun, as everyone will be expected to muck in with some of the chores and running of the trip. We are travelling overland so driving days are inevitable. But these will be interspersed with breaks of a day or two at a destination or activity.

You must be tolerant of others (you may have to go a couple of days without a shower!) and willing to be part of a group experience. There are loads of exciting activities such as white-water rafting, trekking, horse riding or cultural explorations. They involve an element of participation (don't be a party pooper) and the more you put in, the more fun you'll have. You'll also make new friends, often for life.

"The entire trip was excellent - the extra little stops off the itinary were well worth the effot."

"Really can't fault Blair, maybe he should be a bit harder on lazy people on the trip (which you always get) but then he wouldn't be his laid back self then, who alwaysdealt with problems if required. Please pass on my thanks to Blair for a great trip. He was excellent, very organised and laid back. I will definitely be using Encounter again."
JG
"Alot of this was thanks to our driver, Kieran, who was a superb leader and often went far beyond what I imagine would normally be expected from a driver. He most definitely was the biggest factor in making the trip so enjoyable and we could not have asked for a better leader."
SL
